Whether you like them for breakfast, snack time, or even dessert, you’ll LOVE the refreshing taste of this Tropical Smoothie. And best of all, it couldn’t be easier to make!
So…..how was your Christmas? Your New Year’s Eve? Your holiday break?? I feel like it’s been forever! We have so much to catch up on! I decided to take some much-needed time off this holiday season, and good thing I did….because we were seriously BUSY.
Between last minute Christmas prep, family celebrations, out of town guests, time with friends, and a birthday celebration for my mom….we barely had a moment to breathe. Good thing I didn’t plan on getting much done!
I did, however, manage to visit the grocery store daily. Because that’s what you do when you’re hosting back to back get togethers. And we also somehow managed to clean up our house after the explosion that was Christmas morning. (Am I the only one who shudders just thinking about it!??)
I know, I know….I should be used to it by now. This is our 12th year of being parents. But EVERY year it hits me the same way: WHAT WILL WE DO WITH ALL THIS NEW STUFF???
So we did what 90% of families across the country probably do around this time of year. We took a giant load to Goodwill. And we’re already working on another one. It’s the only option, really. When new stuff comes in, old stuff MUST go out.
And you know what? It feels good. It feels great, actually. Decluttering. Making space. Attempting to start the new year off clean.
Speaking of clean….if you’re like most people, you’re starting off 2018 with some healthy eating goals. Am I right? Well guess what. So am I! I’m living in the land of more veggies and less cheese. And….of course….more smoothies. ALWAYS more smoothies.
And let me tell you, whether you’re into smoothies or not, this Tropical Smoothie is one you HAVE to try. Not just because it’s bitter cold outside and this Tropical Smoothie will make you feel, well, tropical…..but because there’s so much delicious fruit packed into it you just can’t go wrong.
I’m all about less is more. When it comes to decluttering my house. But when it comes to my smoothies? Sometimes more is more. Case in point: this Tropical Smoothie. Aka the perfect way to kick off 2018.

Happy New Year and I got nothing done other than being in Mexico. It was *perfect* lol.
This looks delish! Good call on the Goodwill…I do the same thing all the time around here, it’s a must, I hate clutter!

It is wonderful that you tell us how many calories are in a serving, but I missed the part where you tell us how much a serving actually is, LOL. Am I just blind today and missing what is right in front of my eyes or is it actually missing? Cheers.
