Baileys Buttercream Frosting is perfectly sweet, creamy, buttery, boozy, and delicious…..the perfect finishing touch to all your favorite cookies and cakes!
One of the things I love most about working from home is that I get to be with my kids. ALL THE TIME. Which is obviously good in so many ways….and definitely challenging in others. Like when I’m trying to shoot a video and someone keeps bumping into the tripod. Or when I pull a hot, cheesy dish out of the oven for photos….and someone has an epic meltdown at the exact same time. Or….when I’m dealing with something extra delicious but totally not for kids. Like this Baileys Buttercream Frosting.
Naturally, I made it when Myla was home with me….and naturally, she wanted to try some. Because FROSTING!!! (It didn’t hurt that she saw exactly how much powdered sugar went into it…..) So, against my better judgment, I decided to give her a little taste. We’re talking a very little taste. And, of course, she loved it. And basically spent the rest of the morning trying to figure out how to get more of it. Ha!
She did manage to sneak a few more licks before I told her NO MORE. Her response? “But Mom…..I wike is FO much!” I know, babe. I like it so much, too! If you like Baileys, there’s no way you won’t fall in love with this Baileys Buttercream Frosting. It’s extra creamy with just the right amount of sweetness….and….obviously….the delicious taste of Baileys Irish Cream.
To be honest? I can see myself putting this Baileys Buttercream Frosting on EVERYTHING….from now straight through St. Patrick’s Day! And, just between you and me, “everything” might include a spoon. And/or my finger. Because there’s no doubt in my mind that this frosting is better than anything I could put it on. Just sayin’. And you know what? I’m pretty sure Myla would agree.
