Easy Cheesy Muffin Tin Biscuits are rich, buttery, and loaded with the delicious flavor of pepper jack cheese. They come together in just 5 minutes and make the perfect addition to your holiday table!
I saw something on Facebook the other day that made me laugh. It was something along the lines of Thanksgiving being that special day each year when we make 17 side dishes our kids won’t eat. I don’t know about you, but around here, that couldn’t be more true!
Stuffing? Nope. Sweet potatoes? No way. Green bean casserole? You’ve got to be kidding me. But these Cheesy Muffin Tin Biscuits are always a YES.
They’re rich, buttery, and loaded with cheese. In other words… you can’t go wrong! So skip the dinner rolls and go straight for these biscuits this year. If I had to guess… you’ll never go back!
what you’ll love about this recipe
You’ll LOVE that these biscuits are easy to make and absolutely fool-proof! Just melt, mix, pour, and bake….and they come out perfect EVERY time. Not to mention… you can’t beat a recipe that’s loved by both kids and adults, alike!
what you’ll need for this recipe
Butter – Butter is a key ingredient in these biscuits, giving them a rich buttery flavor and velvety texture. I used 1 cup of melted unsalted butter. Feel free to substitute salted butter and reduce the salt to 1/4 teaspoon.
Shredded cheese – Cheese is another key ingredient in these biscuits and the one ingredient that gives them most of their flavor. I used 8 ounces of Pepper Jack cheese, but you could substitute cheddar, Swiss, Colby Jack, or any variety you like.
Sour cream – Sour cream makes these biscuits extra moist instead of dry or crumbly. I used 1 cup of full fat sour cream in this recipe.
Flour – Flour provides the structure for these biscuits. I used 2 cups of all purpose flour.
Baking powder – I added 1 Tablespoon of baking powder as a leavening agent. Between the butter, cheese, and sour cream, 1 Tablespoon is necessary to help them rise.
Salt – Finally, 1 teaspoon of salt brings out all the delicious flavors.

I love the Vintage Avon perfumes, the packaging looks so immaculate and pure retro. I have a few old Avon cosmetics with their original packaging, I’m not sure how long ago they date back to, but they are splendid to look at, how packaging has changed! And the Stratton compact, I have expressed my love and longing for one before. You know as mean as it sounds I love it when charity folk don’t actually realise the true value of an item and riudoilcusly under price it, what an amazing scarf, such a find, I love the colours. xx

Accordingly, here’s a view of The Heartbreak Kid as a Jewish Tragedy, a warning to all assimilationist American Jews: No wonder Phil’s parents liked it. One may love or hate the movie, depending on how one feels about the Grodin character. All the other characters are obvious stereotypes. You could just read Philip Roth. Another movie like that is The Apprenticeship of Duddy Krawitz, a tad more contemporary movie not reeking of Israel Zangiwill (sic?) melting pot.

Taste delicious, seems very simple, but mine did not rise. They are about 3/4 inch tall. Any suggestions?
Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving!
Cathy Trochelman says
Sorry to hear that, Sharon! They’re not especially “tall” biscuits, they’re a little more dense. You could consider buying fresh baking soda if they really didn’t rise at all though!
