All the flavors of carrot cake…in a deliciously creamy dip! This Creamy Carrot Cake Dip is made with just a handful of ingredients and tastes just like your favorite dessert!
One of my favorite things about baking is… well… NOT baking! Yes, you heard that right. There’s nothing more satisfying than turning a classic dessert recipe into a delicious no-bake treat. And this Creamy Carrot Cake Dip does exactly that.
It has all the flavors of carrot cake… without all the stress! It takes just minutes to make and is basically impossible to mess up. Which makes it perfect for all those times you need a last minute, no-fail dessert.
This dip is delicious with cookies, crackers, apples, pretzels, or anything you can think of. We especially love it with gingersnaps or cinnamon graham crackers.
what you’ll need for this recipe
Cream cheese – Cream cheese is the base of this dip. I used 12 ounces of plain cream cheese, softened to room temperature.
Sugars – I used a combination of 1/2 cup powdered sugar + 1/3 cup brown sugar to sweeten this dip. Feel free to reduce the amounts if you prefer it a little less sweet.
Spices – I added a combination of 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and a pinch of ground cloves to give it that delicious carrot cake flavor.
Carrots – Last but not least, I added 1/2 cup of finely shredded carrots. Be sure to grate them yourself, since store bought matchstick cut will be too thick.

Dumb question; but what kind of cookie is it in the picture? It looks like gingerbread cookies. I am both in love with the way the cookie looks and the dip. I can’t wait to try! If you have the recipe for the gingerbread cookie I would love to know it 🙂

Good guess….it’s gingersnaps! I actually didn’t make the ones pictured in the photos, but I do have a ginger cookie recipe on my blog: https://www.lemontreedwelling.com/2015/12/peanut-butter-cup-stuffed-ginger-cookies.html. Just bake them on a cookie sheet instead of muffin tins! 🙂
